Statvis invented a new interpolation technique!
If you have ever done interpolation before (inverse distance weighted, p-spline, kriging etc.) you know that there is… shall we say… more art involved than you might expect. Statvis has fixed that by optimizing those selections so you get consistent, reliable, defensible interpolation maps. These are maps you can explain to anyone (your regulator, your client, your grandma…ANYONE). Just select a group of samples and click run.
Done. You’re a GIS genius! Oh and one more thing, we invented a whole new interpolation technique for delineating plumes! In addition to the standard interpolation based concentration or certain threshold (e.g., guideline, standard, criteria, RAL etc.) you can use the proprietary Statvis method of interpolating based on sample similarity! This will draw a boundary around your plume that separates it from other plumes that may be lurking in the area.

Poster presentation tomorrow is on the use of PCB congener data to get your Aroclor data requirements. Many scientists continue to monitor Aroclor data because they have historical data that was collected that way. PCB congener results can quickly be converted into Aroclor equivalents.
And you won't get misleading Aroclor results when sources of PCBs are NOT from traditional commercial mixtures or are weathered.
